As a wedding Celebrant, I truly enjoy meeting with my couples and families before their wedding ceremonies, whenever possible. This engagement allows us to connect better, ensuring everyone feels relaxed and confident in my abilities ahead of the big day. Of course, in-person meetings aren’t always feasible, so we can discuss your bespoke wedding ceremonies online through video conference calls or by phone, just like in the good old days.
In the case of funeral services, time is often limited and emotions can run high, but we always strive to create the perfect farewell for your loved one. Whether it’s a heartfelt funeral service, vow renewals, or intimate ceremonies, we work together to ensure it reflects the essence of those we honor.
There are many ideas we can discuss to create meaningful, symbolic elements for any occasion, including wedding ceremonies, vow renewals, and even funeral services. For example, rituals like Handbinding, Sandblending, or a Unity Candle ceremony can engage family members, fostering a sense of inclusion in the process. The execution of the chosen element is included in the ceremony fee, while the materials required will be at cost to the client. You are welcome to source your own materials, or I'm happy to assist in sourcing them for you.
A Wedding Ceremony Certificate is completely optional, much like those offered for vow renewals or in funeral services. I can provide a variety of options, including a beautifully handcrafted certificate that will be elegantly hand Calligraphied and enclosed for safekeeping on your special day. This piece is certainly suitable for framing, but we can also explore other possibilities.

In short, the answer is no, I cannot legally marry you.
My role is to create ceremony whether that be a wedding day (which by definition is the celebration of marriage), a commitment ceremony or renewal of vows.
Marriages are a legal contract which must be carried out by an authorised body in line with your place of residence, nationality and/or cultural requirements. For example, in the UK, a registry office can arrange your paperwork then your Celebrant can create/deliver your wedding ceremony. X
